Purchased this for my 6 year old boy for Christmas intended , but my kids were so bored inside the house because of rain for several days straight.
My 6 year old boy, of course, enjoyed it. Pros: Miminal Setup. Simple Rules. Can be played as one person game or up to 4 people.
Cons: test tubes and balls are small. I wish they were a bit bigger. We played this as a family, my husband, myself, and two kids age 6 and For adults, this game is easy.
For 10 year old, this is just the right level of difficulties not so difficult but not so boring. For 6 year old, it gives him great deal of accomplishment.
When my two kids and I play, we do not compete against each other or time it. When we play as a family, my husband and my daughter would team up and my son and i would team up and we would try to complete as many cards as we can and sum up the number of cards that we completed.
That will probably for 10 years and up. As this is still new to us, I am not sure about repeatability. Not sure if my kids would get bored after a week or so.
I will update my review in a while. What a fun game! It's a logic puzzle and coordination test disguised as a really fun game - and there are no batteries to buy!
Our whole family loves it and our 8 year-old has taught everyone who will listen how to play. The game goes quickly and you can play according to the rules or, if you're anything like our family, you can make up your own house rules.
For example, we follow the "no using your hands" and "if you spill, you lose" rules but choose to play until all the cards are gone and then see who has the most to determine who wins.
Anyway, if you're looking for something that your kiddos can play by themselves but isn't tedious to sit and play along with them you have found the right game.
Highly recommended! My whole family enjoys this game. It definitely requires some dexterity, so my kids younger than 8 get to use their fingers where the older kids have to play by the rules and touch only the test tubes.
The rules variations level the playing field when different ages are playing together. For example, adults have to hold all the tubes in their hands not putting any on the table while moving the balls from tube to tube.
The only problem we've had is balls escaping from the table and rolling under furniture. The balls also look VERY much like candy, so the game needs to stay far, far away from kids younger than 3 unless an adult is watching very closely.
So, the game is good as a logic game for a 6 year old. The game rule states that you are not allowed to touch the balls, which then makes it very difficult.
We have adapted the rules so that the child can touch the balls as he pours, making it a pure logic game for him, while adults are not allowed to touch the balls, making it a dexterity game for us.
We also stopped resetting the game to the start position and make everyone get back to the start position before trying to mix the card.
All in all, an OK game, but it would be nice if the logic challenges were harder, since the 6 year old already has that part figured out.
This game is one of the more aggravating games I have played, and it is a hoot!!! A caveat is that, if you are playing with someone who has a lot of difficulty with hand-eye coordination, it likely will not be fun for them.
There's more to it than that though. If you were playing with someone who struggles with hand-eye coordination, you could probably modify how it's played so that they can join in as well.
I'm just not sure how that would work. Cute game, but beat with competitive and older crowd who can think through the means to win.
Found lots of frustration with eight year old who expected it to be easier than it was. One person found this helpful. See all reviews. Top reviews from other countries.

Thank you. Report abuse. Eureka is a great, fun game for kids and adults alike. Players each get a set of measuring cylinders and three pairs of colored molecules balls.
A card is flipped from the deck and players then race to match their molecules in their cylinders to what is shown on the card.
It gives you the feel of being in a science lab, mixing up chemicals, although it's a race. The first player to complete it correctly and shout "eureka!
You can follow the rules or play however you want, really - first to 5 points, or go through every card in the stack. It's fun and a good design, with quality components.
It says players on the box, but it's really not too fun to play it by yourself. In fact, the more players, the merrier! I guess that's my one complaint - I wish it went up to like 6 players, although the cards would need to be bigger so everyone around the table could see them, so maybe that's why they limited it to 4.
In any case, I recommend it - it's unique among board games, and for that reason, it has a likely permanent place on my gaming shelf.

In stock on December 14, Koeputkien sisällä on kaksi keskenään samanväristä palloa, mutta kunkin putken sisältö erivärinen.
Edellä mainitsemistani verrokeista Halli Cups ja Rings Up!
In Season 5, she is revealed to be behind the kidnapping of the Astraeus crew, though later helps Carter and others at Global Dynamics recover them.
Following an anonymous tip from Beverly, Henry's wife Grace is released from government custody. Henry Deacon is the town jack-of-all-trades. Although, like most residents of Eureka, he is a brilliant multidisciplined scientist, Henry has ethical objections to the kind of research conducted at Global Dynamics, preferring employment as the town's mechanic.
Henry's assistance is often invaluable in defusing the situations the experiments in town create.
In the Season 1 finale set in , Henry is married to Kim, and attempts to save her life by traveling back in time to the point where she died.
Her death cannot be prevented, and Henry mourns her loss. During Season 3, he was elected mayor as a write-in candidate. Following the change in timeline in season 4, he is suddenly married to Grace, and is trying to keep the timeline shift a secret.
Late into the 4th season, he confides in his "wife" after he realizes he is beginning to fall in love with her. They subsequently 'renew their vows'.
In the series finale, following an anonymous tip from Beverly Barlowe, Grace is released from government custody.
Henry also becomes the new Director of Global Dynamics after Fargo steps down. Grace Monroe is Henry's wife. They are shown as a close couple with her being his intellectual equal, often helping him with his work.
At the beginning of the "Founder's Day" episode in Season 4 Henry and Grace barely know each other by the end, after the group returns to the present altered timeline, Henry discovers they are married.
When Henry later reveals the truth about the alternate timeline she is upset, and wants "her Henry" back; but he is eventually able to win her affection, and by the "Clash of the Titans" episode they renew their vows and she accepts that this Henry is "her Henry.
She was revealed to be a spy in the alternate timeline, working in tandem with Henry Deacon, and an anonymous tip from Beverly Barlowe released her from government custody.
Jo Lupo is a tough, no-nonsense cop with a love of firearms. From Season 2 onwards, after a brief fling with Taggart, she later develops a relationship with Zane.
Zane proposes to her in the Season 4 premiere, but before she can answer him, time is altered to where the two of them never dated, and in fact cannot stand each other.
In the series finale, she and Zane become engaged. Zane Donovan is a rebellious genius, recruited in the second season as an alternative to imprisonment after being arrested for fraud allegedly causing the New York Stock Exchange to crash.
He also develops a relationship with Jo Lupo shortly after his arrival in Eureka. However, this relationship is erased with the change in timeline.
He is back to being a perpetual prankster, and a low-level nemesis of Jo, though he shows signs of improving because of the trust she puts in him.
In Season 5 he is named head of Section Five by Fargo. In the series finale, he and Jo become engaged. Douglas Fargo is a junior scientist who is treated somewhat dismissively by his peers.
Accident prone, he more often than not ends up a victim of the disasters befalling the town. He has also caused a fair share of the problems.
In the alternate timeline, he is head of GD, and is not well liked by the staff because of his alternate's imposing and intimidating manner.
He has difficulty in this new role as his alternate was a domineering egomaniac, an act he has trouble pulling off. Even so, the job has begun to transform him into a more decisive, and capable leader as the weight of responsibility has forced him to stand up to other GD employees, the Department of Defense, and military generals.
In the series finale, he steps down as Director of Global Dynamics to be with Dr. Holly Marten, leaving Henry to become his successor.
Holly Marten is a socially inept scientist sent to Eureka to assist with the upcoming mission to Titan. Although brilliant, she is painfully awkward with human relationships, which complicates Fargo's determined wooing of her.
She was murdered by Senator Wen when she discovered she and the rest of the Astreaus crew were in a computer program. However, it was soon revealed that her neural patterns became trapped in the Matrix when she was killed in the real world, and she continues to exist.
After a brief reunion with Fargo in the Matrix where he reveals she has died , an antivirus purge destroys the Matrix once and for all; however, she survived and her virtual self is downloaded into SARAH's computer systems.
She is later given a new body and "resurrected". Trevor Grant was an assistant to Albert Einstein in the late s, when Eureka was a military base.
He is first seen in the season 4 premiere, when five Eureka citizens get teleported back into He assists them in returning, but before they leave, Jack Carter tells Allison Blake that "he left his device in another jacket" in At the end of the episode, Dr.
Grant is in Eureka, and it is assumed he was transported there accidentally with Jack's device; however, it is later revealed that he purposely took the time travel device.
He renames himself Charles Grant as an alias, and even those who know his true identity begin calling him Charles in private.
He takes on a job as a scientific historian while working with Henry on assorted projects. He is later approached by the alternate Beverley, who convinces him to work with her toward returning to at the time he left, which later backfired.
He later adopts the alias Dr.
